Welcome to the month of April. By the time you are reading this, you will be deep into it. That means I can’t play any April Fool’s jokes on you, but I have never been a fan of those anyway. Aside from April Fools’ Day this month has a much greater significance to us. It is National Autism Awareness Month, a great opportunity to promote awareness, acceptance and to draw attention to the thousands facing an autism diagnosis each year.

People with autism and their families often have a variety of additional expenses required to meet their unique needs, and that is no April Fool’s joking matter. B Walker Ranch is working hard to help young adults with autism recognize their individual abilities and assist them in achieving a sense of purpose. It is important to help them understand the value of self-advocacy. This day program is to help inspire social development and a sense of community and friendship, promote healthy self-esteem and the joy of serving others.

Each year The Almaro Team along with many other great agents proudly attend Windermere Community Service Day. We are committed to giving to this natural farm in which aims to provide easy and accessible growth opportunities for the developmentally disabled loved ones. Most don’t know that B Walker Ranch is non-profit. They depend on sponsorships and donations to continue its incredible work. We proudly donate a portion of our income from real estate sales to B Walker Ranch.
