June Newsletter 2019

Congratulations Graduates!
Happy June to everyone, as we approach the middle of the year and spring turns into summer let us take the time to celebrate.  Here is to the recent graduates moving on to bigger and better futures and to everyone else for another year of learning and growing. This month we wanted to give the families and their graduates a couple of gifts, so check out the newsletter to see what is in store for you. We also wanted to acknowledge the B Walker Ranch for giving people with autism a safe place to learn and work hard, so that they can also move on to bigger and  better opportunities. B Walker Ranch works with adults with autism and provides a loving Day Program that focuses on participants abilities rather than their disabilities. Attainable challenges and realistic goal setting helps affirm who they are now and who they will become.

May Newsletter 2019

A Real Estate Team that Gives Back to the Rotary of Concord
Happy May! This is the month when flowers bloom and Mothers are celebrated around the world. My Mom used to tell me, everyday, make your bed, eat your vegetables and wash your hands. At the time, I did not understand why she had so many rules. However, looking back on it all these many years later, I can see that she wanted me to be healthy and happy. Every caring Mother is a Wise Woman, which is why we carve out an entire day to celebrate them. However, we are not the only ones celebrating and helping Mothers, Rotary Club of Concord and Rotary International are as well. Rotary makes high-quality health care available to vulnerable mothers and children so they can live longer and grow stronger. They expand access to quality care, so mothers and children everywhere can have the same opportunities for a healthy future.
So here is a shout out to all Mom’s – Happy Mother’s Day!!

Quarterly Newsletter April 2019

WELCOME to Spring—YAY!
In this issue we would like to share with you how to embrace continual improvement. The most powerful concept and idea that any person will ever attach to is the concept of Continual Improvement. This concept is not merely an idea but should be classified as a universal business principle that has incredible weight and power in our lives. A universal principle should be seen as a controlling factor in any outcome and the more it is known and understood; the more it can be leveraged for one’s benefit.
Consider gravity, no matter what I believe about gravity it is holding my feet to the ground right this second. If I don’t know about, or choose not to believe in gravity, it is still holding my feet firmly to the ground. There are several other principles and laws that will allow me to counteract the effects of gravity. Knowing and understanding these laws and principles will allow me to use these forces as an advantage as opposed to them be ...

April Newsletter 2019

Welcome to the month of April. By the time you are reading this, you will be deep into it. That means I can’t play any April Fool’s jokes on you, but I have never been a fan of those anyway. Aside from April Fools’ Day this month has a much greater significance to us. It is National Autism Awareness Month, a great opportunity to promote awareness, acceptance and to draw attention to the thousands facing an autism diagnosis each year.
People with autism and their families often have a variety of additional expenses required to meet their unique needs, and that is no April Fool’s joking matter. B Walker Ranch is working hard to help young adults with autism recognize their individual abilities and assist them in achieving a sense of purpose. It is important to help them understand the value of self-advocacy. This day program is to help inspire social development and a sense of community and friendship, promote healthy self-esteem and the j ...

March Newsletter 2019

A Real Estate Team that Gives Back to Rotary Club of Concord
Everyone loves Spring, primarily because it means...Summer is near! Just like the weather seasons come and go, so do the seasons of life. When we least realize 5, 10, 20 years have come and gone. Are you with me when I say that these seasons seem to come and go faster and faster as well as the time?
Some of life's seasons will be HOT and others will be COLD, some high and some low. The lows we want to move by quickly and the highs we want to stay in forever. With that said,  with all the beauty this Springtime brings, there is also the ugly for some. Children in our local communities and around the world are fighting for a better life. That's why we continue our mission to raise $10,000 for Rotary. Many children have benefited immensely by the amazing projects provided by Rotary. Solving real problems takes commitment and vision. For over 110 years, Rotary has taken action and use their passion, energy, and intellige ...
